The Interuniversity Council (ÜAK) defines an "International Publishing House" in its October 2023 Associate Professorship Application Requirements as "a publishing house that has been regularly operating at an international level for at least four years, whose published books are cataloged in university libraries ranked among the top 500 in the world by ranking organizations recognized by the Higher Education Council, and which has published at least 20 books by different authors in the same field." The Academic Incentive Allowance Regulation, published in the Official Gazette No. 31011 on January 17, 2020, defines a "Recognized international publishing house" as "a publishing house that has been regularly operating at an international level for at least five years and has published at least twenty books by different authors in the same field in languages other than Turkish."
Anadolu University Publications, which has published more than 1000 books since 1979, has more than 20 publications in languages other than Turkish, and its publications are cataloged in university libraries ranked among the top 500 in the world, continues its work by meeting the criteria of "International Publishing House" specified in the Interuniversity Board Application Requirements and "Recognized International Publishing House" specified in the Academic Incentive Allowance Regulation.
